Die X-3000 ist mittlerweile in weiß lieferbar.

It seems everybody has his eyes on X-6000 instead of X-8000, I'm wondering why. Is it a question of budget ? If we take budget away, when do you think X-8000 would be the better choice ? I can only imagine it's about room size, so maybe with bigger than 50m2 room or 60m2, 70m2 maybe ? On the paper X-8000 is another league speaker especially considering amp size almost twice the X-6000. If you make correlation with active monitors like genelec or dynaudio or pmc this difference would have double the price of the speaker at least.

PS. Am I dreaming or white X-8000 are no longuer available at the moment ?

That's what Nubert is known for, great value for money but bare in mind that all the manufacturers that you mentioned do follow different active/wireless approaches. Genelec has their own built in roomcorrection e.g., Dynaudio develops and builds all their chassis themselves.
I agree that there seems to be a lot of focus on the X6000. I can't really tell why. Maybe they were just shipped sooner than the X8000?!

The real audio nerds are dying out, most of the germans are design-fanatic sissies. I wouldn't hesitate to get them for my 17 m² (at least a parametric equalizer for room correction is required).

Well, today I had the pleasure of listening to a pair of Finnish 3-way monitors at Süddeutsche HiFi-Tage and those things certainly are beasts. About 2000 EUR more expensive than a pair of X-4000s and 10cm taller. But at some point, you just have to say "This will be good enough for me". So some people will be content having the "smaller" X-6000. I personally would love to have an X-Series midfield monitor, similar to A-600, but whether that is coming is, at best, speculation at this point. I will certainly visit nubert and check the X-Series out in person.

If I was someone never to be content with the smaller solution, I would listen to a pair of A-300s at my desk, instead of A-200s. Oh wait, I totally am that guy and went full out Some people take a smaller flat to afford a bigger engine, trade-offs everywhere.

I wasn't aware of that ! I do get them however, nobody wants to have ugly towers in their living room but to find the greatest compromise is just painfully difficult

Auch wenn die X-8000 keine Auflösungsmonster in der Wiedergabe sind, ist gerade der obere Frequenzbereich sehr angenehm abgestimmt, …

… , aber was die X-8000 mit dem Tieftonbereich anstellen ist unheimlich. Der Bassbereich ist enorm dynamisch und unglaublich kraftvoll.
