Hello,
Sorry for repeating this questrion if it has been asked before - my German is zero
What amplifier would you recommend to drive a pair of NuLine 122 ? I need a big, yet detailed sound.
My budget is 800 - 1000 Euros.
Thank you in advance
Regards
Alexei

Best amplifier for NuLine 122 in 800-1000 Euros price range
Hello Alexei,
i would recommend you a NAD C 372, an Rotel RA-1070 or a Marantz PM 7001. All three are excellent ampilifers who are capable to drive the Nuline 122 with enough power.
Further question: do you use an ATM module from Nubert for your Nulines? Because, if you aim to use one of these little tuning modules, your AMP should have MAIN-IN and PRE-OUT connectors. Please give us a short request, thanks

Hi!
Thank you for your replies!
I see that Advance Acoustic is quite popular as an amplifier for NuLine 122. Since I'm calling from Belgium it should not be a problem to buy it here.
Will the 305 do the job or the extra money for 206 + 406 pre/pro combination will bring me significantly better sound? Agan, my main criteria is big yet transparent sound with very good localization of instruments.
Thank you
Alexei

Far more important for "big yet transparent sound with very good localization of instruments" is your room in which you are listening.
A room without carpets, shelves and furniture often sounds harsh and unnatural. Before you invest too much money into electronical equipment you should consider spending money for absorbers which you could place on the ceiling or onto the walls. Or corner absorbers if you are getting problems with bass.
Don't ignore the influence of room acoustics - it's major!
