der server wurde zwischenzeitlich auf Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (von 8.04 LTS) aktualisiert; damit werden nun auch die aktuellen pakete von apache, mysql und php genutzt. wie gehabt wird der webserver u.a. von mod_security, pecl:apc und suhosin (patch&extension) unterstützt.
abgesehen von einer verbesserten sicherheit sollte das keine auswirkungen auf den laufenden betrieb haben

Nachdem eine ganze Reihe an Aktualisierungen im Verborgenen stattgefunden haben, steht nun erstmals wieder eine größere Umstellung des nuForums mit entsprechender Downtime an.

Das Forum wird heute abend für einige Stunden offline gehen, um dann ab morgen früh mit einer neuen Version (hoffentlich dann fehlerfrei) wieder am Start zu sein. Die Nutzerkarte sowie der nuMarkt können dabei wie bereits angesprochen leider nicht übernommen werden, für letzteres wird es aber in Kürze eine forenbasierte Alternative geben.
