abl defekt??

hab gerade im abl-infoblatt gelesen, dass die meisten leute den abl regler zwischen 12 und 14 uhr bevorzugen. bei mir tut sich in der stellung allerdings gar nichts. auch hab ich einen thread gefunden i.d. einer meint bei 10 hätts ihm schon alles weggeblasen. bei mir geht erst ab 15 was und ab "boost" merkt man wirklich mehr power. woran kann das liegen? alter verstärker? der loudness schalter gibt um einiges mehr her, klingt auch sehr ähnlich. also ich merk keinen großen unterschied zwischen abl auf "boost" und loudness ausser dass loudness eben noch kräftiger wirkt... so genug erklärt! kann es sein, dass mein abl nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. bitte um hilfe!! lg. sebastian

Hallo bastianse,

Das ABL ist in keinsterweise mit einem Bass Regler oder gar Loudness zu vergleichen.
Es hebt nicht den Bass an sondern vergrößert den Übertragungsbereich der
Box linear nach unten.
Den Bass Boost wirst du nur dann bemerken wenn du Musik laufen hast die auch in
diesem enstprechend tiefen Frequenzbereich überhaupt etwas liefert.
Also etwa 50 Hz und darunter.
Natürlich steigt dadurch der Leistungshunger der Box stark an; falls dein Verstärker das nicht mit
macht wirst du das aber sehr schnell an einem unsauberen Klang erkennen.

Um die reine Funktion des ABL zu testen kannst du entweder mal diverse sogenannte
Bass-Test Stücke probieren oder einen Tongenerator bzw. Test CD mit Sinustönen ausprobieren.

Ansonsten wird dir die Nubert Hotline sicher mit Rat und Tat gerne weiterhelfen

P.S.: mein ABL steht meistens so bei 14:00 und es ist die richtige Musik vorrausgesetzt deutlich spürbar

Baßregler von Verstärkern und Loudness-Tasten die tiefen Mitten.

Bässe ist nicht das, was in Autos Bumm Bumm macht, sondern
was Tassen auf dem Tisch wandern läßt ...

Ist doch ganz einfach. Man schreibt seine Dekoder selbst und
so effizient, daß man mit 300x dekodieren kann.
Und dann hört man sich seine Musiksammlung mit 300x an.
Wo noch was zu hören ist, ist Tiefbaß drin ;-)

Mal zurück zum Problem von Bastianse: Wäre schön, zu erfahren, mit welcher Musik du das ABL ausprobiert hast, schreib doch noch mal ein paar Worte dazu. Und welche Boxen hast du überhaupt? Oder hab ich's überlesen? Bei den 120ern oder 125er kann ich mir schon vorstellen, dass man die Wirkung vermissen kann. Bei allen anderen eigentlich nicht. Und welchen Verstärker oder Receiver hast du?

da du erst seit kurzem dabei bist und die Zahl deiner Beiträge noch übersichtlich, kann man sich die benötigten Informationen schnell zusammensammeln.
Boxen: nuWave35
Verstärker: technics SU-V2A
Ist das soweit richtig?

Tja, wo ist der Bass?

1) Eine Ursache wurde ja schon genannt: es muss sich in den Aufnahmen auch Tiefbass befinden. Bei nuWave35 sollte die Trefferquote dafür aber schon ein bisschen höher liegen, Kontrabass bei Jazzaufnahmen, große Trommeln, tiefe Orgeltöne - sowas profitiert normalerweise deutlich. Aber auch in vielen Popaufnahmen ist Tiefbass drin. Frank hat ja eine Liste aufgestellt (wohl eher rechnen lassen ), vielleicht findest du was passendes. Am einfachsten ist es in diesem Falle wohl, Interpreten oder CD-Titel von als geeignet vermutetem vorhandenem Material in die Seiten-Durchsuchfunktion des Browsers einzugeben und zu schauen, ob da etwas aus Franks Liste passt

In diesem Zusammenhang wäre auch noch denkbar:
Du erwartest zu viel oder etwas anderes. Das ABL erzeugt keinen Discobass, sondern erweitert den Übertragungsbereich der Boxen nach unten. Der Bass wird also nur "mehr", wenn so tiefe Töne in den Aufnahmen enthalten sind. Im Bassboost-Bereich werden dann auch höher liegende Bässe etwas mit angehoben.

2) Nächste Ursache:
Vielleicht doch der Verstärker? Das kann man zwar meistens verneinen, aber vielleicht auch nicht immer? (Das wäre insofern peinlich, als wir dir zugeraten haben, dass man das ABL auch an kleinen, älteren Verstärkern betreiben könne) Auf jeden Fall solltest du das Subsonic-Filter des Verstärkers nicht aktivieren (wer weiß, wo das ansetzt). Im unglücklichsten Fall ist der Übertragungsbereich des Verstärkers etwas eingeschränkt oder seine Konstruktion lässt keine hohen Ströme zu, d.h. er arbeitet im Bassbereich sowieso schon sehr weich und unkontrolliert. Aber das kann dir aus der Ferne niemand beantworten.
Die "einfachste" Lösung wäre hier eine Gegenprobe mit einem anderen Verstärker. Sollte der Verstärker "schuld" sein, dann wäre er allerdings sowieso ein Tauschkandidat, auch ohne ABL, weil er dann die Qualitäten einer nuWave35 auch nicht annähernd ausreizt.

3) Weitere Ursache:
Der Raum kann dir auch einen Strich durch die Rechnung machen. Wenn die Boxen so ungünstig stehen, dass die meisten Bässe am Hörplatz gerade ausgelöscht werden, dann fällt die Wirkung des ABL auch nicht so auf. Dies lässt sich aber durch experimentelles Verschieben der Boxen und durch Umhergehen im Raum meist schnell erkennen - wenn der Bass an anderen Stellen des Raumes deutlich stärker ist, dann muss die Aufstellung der Boxen geändert werden.
